50 Yoga Quotes for Inspiration and Personal Growth

I try to share a quote at the end of every yoga class I teach. When I was going through yoga teacher training, I learned much more than the physical poses, or asanas. We were taught to take what we cultivate on the mat and apply it in the rest of our lives. As a teacher, I use quotes in my classes as a way to encourage critical thinking and personal growth. Yes, yoga is amazing for building strength, balance, and flexibility. However, it can also be used as a time to reflect, to enjoy the present moment, and to become a kinder, gentler, and more compassionate person. The emotions, frustrations, joys, and fears that we work out on our mats allow us to approach the world differently when we step off of our mats. It is my hope that students leave a yoga class with renewed optimism, strength, focus, and love for themselves and those around them.

I get a lot of requests to share my quotes. Ask and you shall receive! May these quotes fill you with inspiration!
